Meet Revolutionary Li-Fi Technology,a Fastest way of wireless Communication…!!
LIGHT-BASED WIRELESS COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY BY “PROF.HARALD HASS”
It’s 100 times Faster, Smarter and as well as secure than
WIFI.PROF.HARALD HASS invented the wireless technology in 2011 that uses led lights as routers to hundred times faster transmission than today’s Wi-Fi networks.
It’s more energy efficient than WIFI and as 10,000 bandwidths, It is believed that LI-FI technology gives a new generation to wireless technology.

What is Li-Fi??
Li-Fi refers to visible light communications (VLC) technology, Its a wireless technology, which LED (light emitting diode) lights as routers.
Workings of LI-FI??

An Estonian startup called Velmenni used a Li-Fi-enabled light bulb to transmit data at speeds as fast as 1 gigabit per second (Gbps), it means a high-definition film could be downloaded within seconds. The real-world test is the first to be carried out, but theoretical speed of 224 Gbps. So, just what is Li-Fi, how does it work, and will it really revolutionize the way we connect to the Internet?
It is tested in an office as well as industrial space by allowing workers to access the internet. So, that it proved LIFI is a smart lighting solution for high-speed wireless communication through led lighting technology.
Here it works with a speed of 1Gbps.
What we Need??
Will It Work With Any Light Bulb?
Haas said during his Ted Talk in 2011 that the current infrastructure would allow every single LED light bulb to be transformed into an ultra fast wireless router. “All we need to do is fit a small microchip to every potential illumination device and this would then combine two basic functionalities: illumination and wireless data transmission,” Haas said. “In the future, we will not only have 14 billion light bulbs,
We may have 14 billion Li-Fis deployed worldwide for a cleaner, greener and even brighter future.”

Advantages of LI-FI Technology:
It’s work with a speed of 1 Gbps. Unlike WiFi, it does not interfere with other radio signals, so could be utilised on aircraft and in other places where interference is an issue.
While the spectrum of radio waves is in short supply, the visible light spectrum is 10,000 times larger, meaning it is unlikely to run out anytime soon.
Disadvantages of LI-FI Technology:
The only problem is it doesn’t work outdoors or through walls.*sigh* There’s always a catch.PureLIFI said that they use filters so that the technology can be used indoors even when sunlight is present
